Off to climb Kilimanjaro!

After some coaxing from my son I have entered the world of blogging.  Not sure who will care or even notice for that matter, but just in case I am going to try to keep it interesting.

I am in a season of personal change…… Looking forward to what might lie ahead and staying ready for whatever may come my way.  Leap Fearlessly is how I am describing my approach to life, I am going full on and keeping open to possibility and the knowledge that God’s grace and mercy is what sustains me.

Currently on this blog you can get to the tab My Story to get the background for the decisions to do the Komen 3 Day 60 mile walk for a breast cancer cure, and the Kiliclimb to raise money to drill water wells in Africa.  I hope you get a chance to explore the web site for the Kilimanjaro climb sponsored by World Serve and take a minute to read about my fellow climbing team.  If you are so moved to make a contribution to help us make our team goal, to raise $20,000 to give a village clean water I will be thrilled and you will be blessed.  The personal satisfaction you will get by being a part of this worthy cause will be exciting as you follow our climb to 19,300 ft.

How ever you have found LeapFearlessly.com I hope you will find it to be a “good story.”  Many of you will visit after I have given you a business card with info, but others will find your way just from a few clicks.  I am very glad to share my story with you. Some times a brief conversation just doesn’t quite give me enough time to go beyond the highlights, my hope is this web site will be a way to make a stronger connection  with you, and make a way for us to have some new conversations when I see you.

Take a minute and click through some of the other pages, for example check out the tab, Fearlessly Blogging -lots of thoughts on that section and especially choose one labeled Dallas it has some great pictures of the Komen 3 day.  Go ahead and leave a comment if you would like, we’ll see where this all takes us and maybe we will get to have a cup of coffee together soon.

Blessings — Rita g

Well now you have a third pic to add to this page!!! Summit Mt. Kili!!!! You beat the odds and mastered a lifetime memory. Wow impressive! The stories you have engraved in your brain will be much reading material for all of us who were back home praying constantly. The BVI is looking really good right now, I know, and I can’t wait to make memories with you for that.
    Love you
