Recouped….and reflecting!

Blogging does create some level of expectation that one is going to produce something in writing — — Since our return from Africa things have been pretty fast paced. Not particularly exciting but necessary.  Like I had to get the Christmas decoration down, that is a lot of work at this house.  I have gotten some help the last few years from my friends at The Flower Merchant, but then you have to fill in the bare places again.  My PR (personal best) for keeping my decoration up was I believe April 1st!!! Larry really wanted to know why we were even taking them down because we would just have to get them out again before long.  Oh well…..

Then 4 days with the Wortman kiddos being Grandma or as Eli says “granma”.  We had a good time just hanging out together.  I have lost my touch on getting out the door with 2 little ones and remembering ALL that is necessary to go any where.  God Bless the mothers of young children — !!!!

The last two days I have finally had some time to reflect on our trip to Africa and the climb.  Honestly the trip days were somewhat of a blurr until I sat down and did a rewind.  The replay was really rich and full.  All the things I had hoped would be there were, they had just been on fast forward along with jet lag and energy depletion.  I wrote 30 hand written pages of the story!!! Got to edit it today and get it typed, then I will share it with you.  Many have ask me to tell them about the trip, it is just not possible to describe it in just a few sentences as it has meaning to me in so many dimensions of my life that it has to unfold.  I hope you will find it interesting.  I will have pictures too….. later……..God Bless
